Puffball S’mores
INGREDIENTS (adjust quantities according to need)
Giant Puffball mushroom sliced 1/3-inch thick
Bacon
Swiss cheese
white bread
chives
butter
salt
 
PREPARATION
Cook bacon until done but not crisp. Drain.
Using round cookie cutter, create equal quantities of puffball and bread discs.
In skillet over medium-high heat, melt 2 tbsp. butter, saute mushroom discs until mushrooms are lightly golden. Salt to taste. Remove and set aside.
On an ungreased baking dish, lay out as many bread discs as desired, stacking on top of the bread layers of cooked puffball, cooked bacon and Swiss cheese.
Bake in 400 degree oven for 5-7 minutes or until cheese melts. Serve immediately with cold beer and football.
